The door nobody checked after the visit
A carer leaves. The door is pulled to. An hour later the family rings to ask whether it was locked, and the honest answer is that nobody knows. Locksure turns that question into a record.
We make a small monitor that fits over the euro cylinder a home already has. It reports whether the door is actually locked, not merely closed, and it timestamps every change. No camera. No microphone. Nothing worn. No motor, so it cannot unlock anything.

Stick the monitor on
Over the existing thumb turn. Five minutes, adhesive, nothing drilled. The lock and keys do not change.

A small hub sits in the property and joins the broadband. One hub covers several doors.

Privacy, stated plainly
- It monitors a door. It does not monitor a person.
- No camera, no microphone, nothing to wear or remember.
- It cannot unlock anything. There is no motor in it.
- Who sees the app is the client's decision and their family's, not ours.
Practical facts
- Fits euro cylinder locks only, not mortice locks.
- The cylinder needs to stand at least 1 mm proud of the lock plate.

Getting the alerts into your systems
Care teams do not want another portal to watch, and we agree. The hub already sends every event out of the property to our cloud, so the only question is where we deliver them.
Into your own portal or dashboard
We already push door events from our cloud into third party clouds. Sending the same events to your endpoint is configuration of something we run today. Tell us the format and it is days of work.
Into an alarm platform
Platforms such as UMO take alarms over the telecare protocols, chiefly SCAIP, or through a certified gateway partner. That is a bigger piece of work and a certification step, and we will talk about it honestly against the volumes involved.

The first route is quick, because it is configuration of something we already run today. The alarm receiving centre route is real work and a certification step, and it is worth doing where the volumes justify it. We would rather talk that through with you early than quote you a date we have not earned.
