A small monitor on the lock
It fits beside the thumb turn or key with the supplied adhesive and senses the turn. The lock and the keys stay exactly as they are.

A display hub in the hall
Sits near a power socket and shows locked or unlocked for each door. Useful at bedtime without picking up a phone.

The app on your phone
Shows the last reported state from wherever you are, and the door can be shared with other family members.
Remote app checks need the hub connected to home WiFi and the internet.

Questions people ask first
Will it fit their door?
Locksure is designed for suitable euro-cylinder locks with a thumb turn or a key turn. It is not a universal fit, so if you are unsure, send us a photo of the lock before you order and we will check it.
Do they need to do anything differently?
No. They lock with the key or thumb turn as usual. The display hub shows the state at home and you see it in the Locksure app. Setting up the hub needs the app and their home WiFi, which you can do on a visit.
Is this a smart lock?
No. There is no motor and nothing can lock or unlock the door remotely. It only reports whether the lock is locked or unlocked, which is also why it costs far less than a smart lock.
Can more than one family member see whether the door is locked?
Yes. A door can be shared in the Locksure app with other family members.
What if the internet goes down?
The hub at home still shows locked or unlocked. The app shows the last state it received until the connection returns.
