The UK's first retrofit Matter lock-state sensor. Pairs direct with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings and Home Assistant via Matter 1.4 over Thread. What is Locksure in a commercial setting?
Locksure is a retrofit door lock monitor that shows Locked/Unlocked status for every door on a live floorplan and dashboard. It’s status-only (no remote unlock), so estates, FM and security teams can confirm doors are secure without walking the site.
Which doors is it compatible with?
Locksure is designed for common commercial setups including Euro cylinders with key/key or key/thumb-turn and internal doors with thumb-turns. It’s retrofit—no lock change, no drilling.
Does Locksure support multiple users and sites?
Yes. Multiple users (reception, estates, security) can view door status and alerts. You can group doors by building/site and see them on a single floorplan or dashboard.
Do you provide alerts and an audit trail?
You can enable notifications for unlocked doors and view a time-stamped history of lock status changes to support checks, handovers and compliance audits.
What happens if Wi-Fi or the internet goes down?
The hub keeps state locally. When connectivity is restored, the app and dashboard update with the latest status and history.
How long does installation take?
Installation is quick—typically minutes per door. Because it’s retrofit and non-destructive, disruption to staff or tenants is minimal.
Is Locksure secure and privacy-first?
Yes. Locksure reports status only and does not provide remote control of the door. That reduces operational risk and keeps security policies simple.
What about battery life and maintenance?
Devices are designed for long life (e.g., a year or more in typical use). The dashboard will flag low battery so you can plan maintenance proactively.
How does Locksure compare to smart locks?
Smart locks are powerful but costly to retrofit at scale and add the risk of remote actuation. Locksure focuses on visibility and assurance at a fraction of the cost—ideal where you just need to confirm doors are locked.
