Key Turn Monitor (Matter)
Add a Matter Key Turn sensor for a keyed-both-sides door. Two sensors, one inside, one outside, pair natively with the Matter controller you already use: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings or Home Assistant. Includes the Locksure open/close magnet so the same Matter device reports both lock state and door open/close. No Locksure Hub required.

MATTER OVER THREAD
The Locksure Matter Key Turn sensor is the keyed-both-sides version of our retrofit lock-state sensor. Two sensors, one inside, one outside, read the actual lock position from either side of the door and report to your Matter setup natively, Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings or Home Assistant. The included Locksure open/close magnet adds door open/close detection on the same Matter device. No cylinder swap, no Locksure Hub required.

Pairing & Compatibility
You need a Matter controller and at least one Thread border router on your network. Common border routers include HomePod mini / Apple TV 4K, Google Nest Hub (2nd gen), Amazon Echo (4th gen), SmartThings Hub v3+, Amazon Eero 6+, and the HA SkyConnect dongle. Each sensor pairs independently; the included Locksure open/close magnet mounts on the door frame with the supplied adhesive pad and pairs to one of the sensors so a single tile shows lock + door state. For same-door reporting across both sides of a keyed-both-sides lock, the optional Locksure Matter Hub assigns both sensors to one Locksure door. CSA Matter certification is mid-flight, until it lands, Apple Home will show “Uncertified Accessory” on first pair; tap Add Anyway and the device works normally. Certified firmware ships as a free OTA when cert clears.
Heads-up on battery reading: the in-app battery percentage currently under-reads slightly at the high end of cell life — a brand-new CR2032 may show 80–95% rather than 100%. This is cosmetic and addressed in a future free OTA.
